Asheville Child Photographer – Caroline is 2

I love watching my kid clients grow up! I can’t believe Caroline is 2 already? I swear I just did her newborn session and yet – here we are.  I loved all the eye-contact – not an easy task with this age. :)

Wilmington Child Photographer – Portrait Party Fun

Playing catch up on some blogging. :) Right before the baby was born, my sister hosted a portrait party in Wilmington, NC. We had a blast and these kids were so adorable. I love the weather in Wilmington…. I think they only have a few months of real cold…nothing like the 70′s in October.

Senior Portrait Photographer – Rachel

Okay, so I’ve dabbled in the past with Senior Portrait Photography… and I’ve always enjoyed it and wanted to pursue it further…. but, I’m a busy gal and with weddings, etc… it kinda fell to the side. I’m happy to report I will be back in to the Senior Market for 2012! With an enthusiastic vengeance. :) Many more examples to come, but, let’s start with beautiful Rachel. She was a joy to work with and a genuine great girl! I wish her much luck in the future…

Atlantic Beach, NC Wedding Photographer – Pam and Rob

I loved this wedding for several reasons… I love the beach. I love September. And – I love my husband, Marc. All of these combined made for a fantastic day! Pam and Rob weren’t bothered by the (downpour) rain that decided to grace us the entire weekend. It was obvious that they were much more involved with each other to notice… ;)

Venue: Coral Bay Club – Atlantic Beach, NC

Little Switzerland Wedding Photographer – Megan and Matt

Megan and Matt were married in Little Switzerland, NC…and if you haven’t been there – you are missing some of the best Mountain views in all of Western, NC.  :) I loved that Megan wanted to include several of her students (she’s a school teacher) in the wedding. Aren’t they the cutest kiddos?

I do love yellow. It just makes me happy. Needless to say, I was giddy with Melisa and Graham’s choice of wedding color… This was a fun wedding. :)

A Baby Hiatus… :)

He has captured my heart. This little baby, this gift from God.  As many of you know, Marc and I have been on an adoption journey.  We now have our “complete” family and I couldn’t be happier…or more busy. :) I’m starting to come out of the baby fog and get back in to a routine and I have a lot to catch up on… in the next few weeks I will be finishing up some editing, but, more importantly, cuddling with the sweetest boys a mother could ask for.

I am so thankful. Thankful for this blessing. Thankful for patient clients (i love you guys). Thankful for a husband who pulls 100% for me….

I wanted to share a few images – (with the entire story of our adoption to come soon). Meet our sweet Evan. Born Oct. 26th – 6 pounds 3 ounces.

one minute old. :)

sweet brothers.

sweet love.

  • Your boys are so precious. I am so looking forward to meeting you in person. Your family is so loving and I’m happy for your new addition.

Salisbury, NC Wedding Photographer – Emily and Ben

One of my favorite weddings this year…. from the dress to the shoes… every detail was thought out. :) The reception was held at the Historic Salisbury Train Depot and Emily and Ben know how to throw a party. Special props to A Southern Soiree for pulling together the perfect wedding.
