I am so proud of Kelsey! She is representing Western North Carolina in the statewide Mrs. NC on June 12th. I shot Kelsey’s wedding last year and just adore her! I’m attaching two headshots from our session this past weekend. She only needs a black and white headshot, so nothing too creative… and yet she’s so pretty!

I would encourage local businesses to sponsor Kelsey; especially those from Marion, NC. I’m a proud sponsor. :) If you would like information, please e-mail me and I’ll send you the forms.

My nephew Bennett stayed with us for an entire week and I loved every minute. My sister is such a good mommy. I can’t wait to get together again…. wish May would get here sooner.

Of course, I took just a couple hundred pics of him… here are a few. Miss you Bennett.

I finally had a chance to meet and photograph this little guy! I’ve been trying to get to Winston-Salem for this session for sometime now…but, all this darn snow and ice??? I know I’ve had to reschedule quite a few clients and I appreciate everyone juggling their schedules! :)

Anyway, meet little Druve. I loved his happy personality and trademark crooked smile. Apparently, he smiles just like his daddy!  When I arrived, he was down for his nap, which is great….because, babies usually wake up happy. Dhruv was no exception to this! I can’t wait to see this sweetie again!

These first few pics… we were getting to know eachother….the smiles kick in soon!

OMG! I love this hair!!! and look at those lips!

Excuse the sorry image scan, but this was too sweet not to share!

Here is the original image…. too sweet!

and a few more from our session…. I didn’t get a chance to blog this little one last year… :)

Amedeus.
We adopted a 3 year old Ragdoll cat and couldn’t be happier! We’ve had him a month and he is just another member of the family. Honestly, he is more like a dog than a cat. He greets us at the door and never leaves my side. Here are a few pics.:) For anyone who thinks they are not a “cat” person, he would surely change your mind!

I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to post these pictures? Perhaps, because it is of my nephew and I can’t pick a favorite…or maybe it’s due to the fact that I’ve been to Wilmington twice since his birth and I’ve been away from my office? Whatever the reason, I am finally posting pics of the cutest little man and the new love in my life, Bennett.

I was with my sister from the moment she was checked in the hospital. What an amazing event to photograph and I was honored to be a part of it. I wish I could describe the emotions…I just can’t. Here are a few from the hospital and then a few from his session at home.

I JUST LOVE HIM.  Jenny- can’t wait to see him in a week!!!

I love this pic! Travis loves to surf! In fact, he went surfing just a few days after Bennett’s birth… :)

I can’t believe how alert he is right after birth! He was 20 minutes old here. :)

and he’s home! I love the coming home outfit!! My boys wore it too!!!

Jen used this shot below for her Christmas card.

Thanks for looking!!! :)

I cracked up when I saw this. This is my life. My boys come in to my room every morning and this is all i hear. love it!

This Halloween was so much fun! I love that my kids were both in to it this year! Owen was in full vampire attire with the personality to match and Cole was a cute pirate with attitude. Gotta love it! We had fun with the Revis family and went trick-or-treating around downtown Marion. I am so glad the rain decided to let up. Although, I don’t think it would have kept away the crowd of kids on our street. Anyway, here are a few pics from the fun:

It only took them forever to figure it out and date each other! These two have been mutual friends with us for years. I loved that I was able to photograph the wedding. What a fun and…freezing day it was! Seriously, it was so cold! Oh…and there was rain. Okay, so not the most ideal outdoor wedding, but as soon as Keisha walked down the aisle, I don’t think anyone noticed… :)  Homewood is always a beautiful backdrop for pictures, but I think we were all pretty happy to go to Coleman Place and warm up afterward! What a fun party too! This wedding was a wonderful way to wrap up wedding season! :)
