A Baby Hiatus… :)

He has captured my heart. This little baby, this gift from God. As many of you know, Marc and I have been on an adoption journey. We now have our “complete” family and I couldn’t be happier…or more busy. I’m starting to come out of the baby fog and get back in to a routine and I have a lot to catch up on… in the next few weeks I will be finishing up some editing, but, more importantly, cuddling with the sweetest boys a mother could ask for.

I am so thankful. Thankful for this blessing. Thankful for patient clients (i love you guys). Thankful for a husband who pulls 100% for me….

I wanted to share a few images – (with the entire story of our adoption to come soon). Meet our sweet Evan. Born Oct. 26th – 6 pounds 3 ounces.

Little Katelyn came to the studio and made her personality known! I was laughing with her parents about her stubborn streak and who she might get it from?? We eventually got her to sleep and managed some super sweet shots.

North Carolina Newborn Photographer – Did someone say baby?

So… if you read my blog, you might think I’ve fallen off the face of the earth. Honestly, wedding season has kicked in full speed and I’ve been focused on work. Sadly, my poor blog is neglected, yet again…. I’m going to merge a few sessions in to one in an attempt to catch up!

Please welcome the following newborns in to this world: Kate (my gorgeous niece), Ashe, Ally, and Colton. These sessions were within the past month…. Sweet babies and two of them – redheads! I love it!!!

P.S. – if you want to follow me on facebook… be my friend. I’m consistent with updating my sessions and schedule on there. It’s a little easier than blogging….lol.

I’ve been traveling a lot these days… lol. This session was so worth the drive to Tennessee. Drew has a very relaxed personality and was easy to work with… We were blessed with a gorgeous spring day and I loved taking some outdoor images. Isn’t his mommy gorgeous?

The trend of sleeping baby boys continues with Luke… What a sweetie! We had amazing natural light in the studio and it was rather toasty… so, he slept the entire session.

Atlanta Newborn Photographer – Little Colin comes early.

Colin surprised us all by coming 4 weeks early! I had just been in Atlanta for Candy’s maternity session… I’m looking forward to many sessions with this little guy. He was an angel and slept the entire time!
