Pretty Ana

Some kiddos just shine! Ana is one of those that can just engage you for hours… I loved our short session at my house.  *sigh* i just adore girls!

My Dirty Boys :)

I haven’t shared any of my kiddos in a while… Owen turns 7 next week and it was time for a mini-mommy session.  After 10 minutes, they were done. I will take what I get with these two!

Sweet Austin

I recently took photos of one of the sweetest boys, Austin. His mother, Jennifer, contacted me a few months back about photographing her little man.  Austin is a 3 year old with a condition known as Fragile X Syndrome. We both agreed that an outdoor setting was exactly what Austin needed and I felt we could get some awesome shots… He did amazing! Here are a few from our session at the Botanical Gardens in Asheville.

The Furr Family

All the way from France…. The Furr family came back to the states to visit family and I was thrilled to hear from them! A few years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing their little girl, Marren.  :) I can’t believe how much she’s grown!

I’m so happy the rain decided to leave us alone… what a fun session!

The Nolan Family ~ my family

I think it’s safe to say I sorta, kinda LOVE this family! :) My nephew, Bennett, keeps growing by the day. I’ve loved every moment and feel honored to document him and his beautiful mommy and daddy. My sister and brother-in-law are “natural” parents and I am in complete awe of how easy the role comes to them. Of course, Bennett makes the job pretty easy.  He is such a happy little guy! I wanted to share a slideshow of some of my favorites from our latest “Aunt Katy” session. Love to the Nolans.

PLEASE PRESS PLAY AND THEN PRESS PAUSE. ALLOW THE VIDEO TO LOAD FOR 3 MINUTES AND THEN PRESS PLAY AGAIN. THIS WILL HELP THE SLIDESHOW RUN SMOOTHLY.  Also, be sure to click the fullscreen option in the lower right hand corner. :) Enjoy.

Sweet Ella and a sea of flowers…

I wanted to post a few of Ella and my follow-up session with the Wright kids. We chose one of my favorite locations for a mini-shoot in the flowers. I just adore this little girl. Such a personality. Thanks to Becky for making the drive to little Ol’ Marion. :)

I’m flying to Savannah today for a session and will return on Monday. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Lucy and Riley – sweet sisters…

These two girls take beauty to a whole new level! I met up with the family at the botanical gardens in Asheville and we had a great time. I was especially thrilled to use my newest “find”- an antique stroller from 1930. I knew this session would be perfect. :) Amita, it was great to see you again! This first image is lovely! I couldn’t decide which to show…so, I’m going with both! I just adore Riley’s expression.

I wasn’t getting alot of smiles at first…

They warmed up to me though…. just look at those eyes!

of course… I love a naked baby.
