Jayme and Cole – Jamaica

I have so many things I could say about this couple. I’ve adored them from our first meeting… Jayme and I met while I was photographing her nephew and we hit it off instantly!  A year later, she was planning her wedding and decided that she really just wanted to go to Jamaica with her closest family and friends. However, she wanted amazing wedding photographs on her big day…(Enter me) I was thrilled to shoot the wedding and drag my hubby along!

Needless to say, we had an wonderful time. There are too many moments to try and put into words, so here we go with the images. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Location: Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Resort: Couples Tower Isle

Dress: Maggie Sottero

Jayme looked so calm and gorgeous!

love this shot that Marc took… Jayme fondly nick-named him “Marky Mark” :)

Everyone was in tears during Brandi’s speech.

after group formals at the bar… it was time for Jayme to take a shot…

We went all over the resort for photographs…

Okay, so the shot above and left is the exact shot I’m taking below… kinda funny. :)

I was super excited to shoot at this incomplete mansion construction across the street….

The girls helped Jayme with her dress after the shoot…

Meanwhile, the guys chilled out with Cubans…

The night never really ended… but, I will stop here for now. ;)

-Love to Jayme and Cole.

Maggie Sottero

Jayme is such a gorgeous bride! Designer, Maggie Sottero, featured a bridal portrait of Jayme on their webpage… so fun! This shot was one of my favorites from our session. :)

Jayme – Bridal Session (pre-Jamaica)

I had a chance to squeeze in a bridal session for Jayme before we left for Jamaica last week. We had an absolute blast! Such variety in our shoot… little bit urban and a lot of country. Gotta love horses. :)

Sharing just a few and I plan on posting a huge sneak peek from the wedding later this week… so stay tuned.

This last shot is special. Jayme dressed up in her grandmother’s wedding gown for a few fun shots.

Teena, this one is for you and your mom.

Mary and Anthony – Biltmore Estate

Mary and Anthony flew across the country for their destination wedding. I had the pleasure of meeting them both a few months back and I knew right away that the day would come together beautifully. Such a gorgeous couple = happy me!

I think my favorite part of the day was when Mary’s father started singing during his speech. I love those moments!

Nicole with Verge Events made the day go smoothly and I loved working side-by-side with Galen from Two Ring Studios. What  a fun wedding to be a part of… ;)

I‘m off to Jamaica for a wedding and will be back in the office on Monday, June 21st. Have a great week!

the “first look”  took place at the Biltmore Inn…

i love this shot that my assistant took…. you rock Keicha!

i love catching moments like these…

The Furr Family

All the way from France…. The Furr family came back to the states to visit family and I was thrilled to hear from them! A few years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing their little girl, Marren.  :) I can’t believe how much she’s grown!

I’m so happy the rain decided to leave us alone… what a fun session!

Newborn Sutton

Such a sweetie and I love the name!!!! Sutton was born last week at 7 pounds / 21 inches and with a full head of brown hair! This little kiddo is completely adored and also happens to be the new son to one of our dearest friend’s, Jamey.

I love when I can give the gift of pictures… Hope you love them! Best to Haley and Jamey!

loving this little smile he kept giving us….

Jess and Brandt – Naples, Florida

So, those who read my blog know that I am usually very good about keeping up with posting…. however, these past few weeks have been crazy!  I’m planning on posting a few sessions and weddings all at once, so bear with me. :)

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of traveling down to Naples, Florida to photograph Jessica and Brandt’s beautiful wedding. I met Jess last year in Tampa at Holly and George’s wedding. I was thrilled to hear of her engagement and so happy to travel down to sunny Florida once again.

The wedding was beautiful! We had amazing (hot, hot, hot) weather. I loved the reception venue, Olde Cypress. The golf theme was so fun!  Hope you had a great time in Greece and wish you the best!

Erica and Wes – Highgrove Estate

PURPLE. That about says it all…

Wes is a huge (I mean HUGE) ECU fan! He insisted on his school colors for the big day and Erica agreed.  I love how the entire purple theme carried on throughout the entire day. Even the bride’s shoes were purple!

The wedding was held at the Highgrove Estate in Raleigh, NC. This was my first time shooting at this venue and loved it!  Such awesome light!

Erica is from Marion, NC and so it meant I had the pleasure of seeing many familiar faces! Thanks for having me and such a great time. Marc and I wish you the absolute best! :) Special thanks to Priscilla of Orangerie Events, who made the day go by without a hitch! I hope to work with you again in the near future. Okay, on with the pics…

The couple chose to meet each other before the actual ceremony for pictures… i love these…

Okay, so everyone at this wedding knows how excited I was to debut my new pink chair I snagged on a thrift store run before the wedding…

Marc took this adorable shot of the flower girl…

The decor by Flowers on Broad Street was BREATHTAKING!  I was amazed by all the different shades of purple and pink!
