Morgan and Bradley – Raleigh Wedding

Beautiful day + Awesome venue + Hilarious couple = Fantastic wedding!

I know I’ve said it before, but, it still rings true… I have the best job! Morgan and Bradley are one of those ridiculously easy couples to photograph. After the ceremony, we drove around downtown Raleigh in a trolley and we had over 45 minutes to get some amazing shots! These two are not afraid to laugh and have fun!

I need to give some special thanks to a few people… Sally with An Elegant Affair you made this day seem effortless and smooth…

Toni and Chris with Barton Creek Weddings… I hope to work with you both again!!! I loved working with you both!

Capital City Club (Kristen) :) As always, love this venue! Kristen, I have magazines in the mail for you.

MY Hubby! You are the greatest! *smooch*  Okay, so on with the images…. I love this first one… This bracelet is very special to the women in Morgan’s family.

I did not realize I was being photographed… thanks Marc. :)

Morgan decided to catch me on camera with her FLIP camera…

I love this shot my hubby took below!!!

We had an amazing sunset that provided the best light for pictures!!!

check out that sunset behind the cake! Gorgeous!

Morgan has the funniest expressions…

some SERIOUS dancing going on!!

On a personal note: My niece was born on the Friday before this wedding. Morgan Grace weighed in at a healthy 10 pounds 10 ounces! Marc and I went by the hospital on our way home Sunday and met this little beauty… so thankful for all of my family. :)

Hampton – newborn session

I think this little guy must have been born smiling! He was such a sweetheart to photograph and he kept giving us those precious little newborn smiles…. you know how they last just a second, but they are so adorable? I just loved him! Here are just a few from last week… :)

i love these mommy moments!

Lilliana – 1 year old

It is amazing how fast time can go by… I feel like it was just yesterday when I shot Elizabeth’s maternity pictures and now here we are… Lilliana is one.

We decided to embrace spring and chose Biltmore Estate for the outdoor session. I had a great time driving around with Lilliana and her sweet self. She was full of ooh’s and ahh’s and continued to make us laugh the entire time.

Elizabeth surprised me with a cool gift too! She is such a fantastic and creative person and knits these beautiful handmade hats for kids… I have a few that will be showcased in sessions to come… can’t wait! :) I’m starting these pics with one of my favorites from a year ago.

Bringing home baby…

A personal session for a dear friend… Jerri. :) Evy is absolutely beautiful! I am so glad I met her while she is still so tiny! All my best to the family and their newest member!

Emily – Bridal in Charlotte, NC

What can I say??? I just love ya Emily! This was so much fun! What a great way to get to know you before your wedding.

I met up with Emily in downtown and we just walked around town shooting her bridal portraits. No plan…just a spontaneous session…which i love!

I think my favorite part was running in to the fireman… they let us come in to the station and shoot away. Too funny! :)

This shot above is too much! :)

Erica and Wes – Engagement session

I was so happy to finally meet Erica and Wes. Such a sweet couple! They drove in from Raleigh for their session and we were blessed with amazing weather… although, we had feared it might rain.

Wes is a huge ECU fan… thank goodness Erica looks amazing in purple. ;) I’m excited to see how the colors will look at the wedding in August! I’m sure it will be beautiful.

Erin and Jake – Columbia, SC

I loved this wedding. I met Erin when she was a bridesmaid in her sister’s wedding and she happened to catch the bouquet! Fast forward two years later and here we are…

Erin and Jake chose to get married in her hometown of Columbia, SC. The reception was at the most unique venue! 701 Whaley is located downtown and so cool!  It had a very urban/chic feel and was big enough to accomodate a huge crowd.  Marc and I loved it and hope to shoot there again. ;)

I also enjoyed seeing two former brides and I was too excited to see that they are both expecting! I cannot wait to shoot their newborn sessions… :)

We had some time before the ceremony to shoot some informal bridals. I LOVE this shot below.

The boys took it easy before getting ready….

I love this shot my husband took of Jake.

This venue is a photographer’s dream…. exposed brick and plaster… (drool) :)

This band rocks! I highly recommend them!

We escaped upstairs for a few minutes for some pics…

this was such a sweet moment… i wish i knew who they were?

Jake let go and danced up a storm. :)

Amanda and Jeff – Engaged!

I loved meeting Amanda and Jeff this weekend. We had a great time driving around and shooting their engagement session. I have to admit that I’m disappointed I won’t have the pleasure of shooting their wedding… I am booked for their date. But hey! At least, they drove from Charlotte to have these pics done. :)

Mrs. WNC – Kelsey Bunzey

I am so proud of Kelsey! She is representing Western North Carolina in the statewide Mrs. NC on June 12th. I shot Kelsey’s wedding last year and just adore her! I’m attaching two headshots from our session this past weekend. She only needs a black and white headshot, so nothing too creative… and yet she’s so pretty!

I would encourage local businesses to sponsor Kelsey; especially those from Marion, NC. I’m a proud sponsor. :) If you would like information, please e-mail me and I’ll send you the forms.
