month: March 2009

So it was March 2008 when I first met this little angel. I’ve been so blessed to document so many of her milestones. I’ve grown quite attached and hope to see her again soon! Katie, thanks for always being so great to work with! I love your little girl. Below is how she looked when I first met her…

and here she is now!

Caroline’s mommy gave me the sweetest card and gift… THANK YOU!

I had a great time driving to Winston-Salem to meet this little one.  Caroline was so sweet and I loved her full head of hair! She was so cooperative and I got some great alert time with her too! I can’t wait to see what she looks like in a few months… ;)

Well, I’m told Mr. Will is having a Welcome Home Party today! I wanted to post a few from our session the other day… he’s such a sweetie and fits in perfect with his new family. It was great to see all of you… especially little Ella, she’s grown so much! Here’s a few:

i love this moment between brother and sister! ;)

Okay, today is the first day of Spring and I couldn’t be more excited! I love the promise of sunshine and warm days to come. Speaking of things to come… I’ve got a bunch of announcements coming, so stay tuned!

Okay…so I’ve been pretty busy shooting and have wanted to blog for a week now. I photographed two newborns this week and loved every minute. Gosh, I love babies! I have the best job! :)

Liliana surprised us all with an early arrival. I had just finished editing her mother’s pregnancy photos when she decided to grace us with her beautiful presence. :) I’m posting a few and then I’m off to Winston-Salem for another newborn session.  I’ll be sure to post baby Will tomorrow. :) Enjoy!

and here she is….

i love how she’s in deep thought… :)

I cannot believe the difference a few months can make! I feel like she should still be a newborn. Ava is so big now and has such a sweet disposition. :) Here are just a few from yesterday’s session.

I love this look!

I got this in mid-roll…. :)

Wow! This weather has been beautiful and I was feeling a good session coming on… Katelyn didn’t disappoint. Unfortunately, a few months ago, she didn’t seem to happy with me, but that has all changed! I just couldn’t get over how much she smiled at me! Thanks to Mommy and Daddy for driving in to Marion for the session. I loved the results!

little bit vintage and I love it!

There are no words. I am in love. :) These two newborns have won my heart! What a wonderful session with Addison and Cooper. They slept the whole time and I loved every minute. Liz is so beautiful and an easy-going mommy. Thank you for having me in your home.  I could post a million, but here are just a few.

Liz knit this hat. :)

i can hardly believe these babies fit inside this skinny mom! i’m jealous.

this is too sweet. Cooper is trying to eat Addison. :)

what a little pout! ;)

I have to admit the drive was a little much. ;) I drove quite a (curvy) distance to Cashiers to shoot this session. It was such a pleasure to see this family again…and of course to meet Frances. I loved her independent nature. And of course what a pleasure to see Henry again… He was almost too easy to photograph.

these two images below crack me up…. we’ve all been there. the “attempt” at a sibling picture. ;) I have to say, I love these!

Once again, I have a lot of blog entries to catch up on… ;) It’s been a busy week! On Tuesday, I met this cute little guy! He’s at that fun age of 5 months and super expressive. I’m looking forward to seeing Collin again very soon for part 2 of our session. ;)

such a pretty mommy!

I just love this look!
