Lauren and Eric – Engagement :)

Lauren and Eric were a lot of fun! We ran all over Clover, SC taking pictures. Laughter was not a hard thing for this couple. In fact, several times when I would pose them they would bust out laughing…which i was more than happy to document. It was great meeting you “officially” and I can’t wait until May!

Lauren was up for trying anything! :)

I think they really liked throwing leaves at me….

Amy and Nate – Engagement ;)

Lots of laughter with these two. Amy and Nate drove in from Charlotte for a little Marion fun! We had a great time! I had not met these two before… but, by the end of the session, we were goofy and I really didn’t want to stop. Thanks you guys!

giving in to my shoe fetish…

little bit of attitude from Nate! He was so funny!

don’t get hit by a car…. :)

Nate is a fireman and i thought this fire escape was appropriate.

i love this outtake of Amy! She had a hard time in the briars… sorry about that.

fun… published :)

Thanks to my good friend Regina Holder who pointed out that I was recently published in My Bella Wedding Guide. www.bellaweddingsguide.com ;) The wedding was Sharon and Matt at Deerpark. I’m attaching the wedding that was featured. I think this wedding was shot during my blog transition and many have not seen these images.

Anywhoo…here it is:

The Zeh Brothers. :)

Talk about the best eyes ever! Love these boys! I haven’t seen Jackson since he was one and he is so big now. And how great to meet little Owen. I’m in love. ;)

i loved this fence! and look at Jackson below… such a boy.

i played with a vintage look on this shot from last week. :) i like it.

Blueberry.

Okay, I’m not even gonna lie! These are the brightest blue eyes I’ve ever photographed! Don’t worry Whitney… I’ll blog more of the session next week, but I just couldn’t resist sharing this one! :)

Abigail … hello fall!!!

It’s amazing how quickly fall came this year.. and how beautiful! I don’t think I’ve seen the leaves this vibrant in a couple of years! I loved shooting Abigail in the middle of it all! Cindy- didn’t we just shoot her newborn pics??? She’s growing so fast!

i couldn’t decide if i prefered bw or color on this shot….so here’s both! What do you think?

6 days old… newborn Ava

This little one means so much to me…. her mommy has helped me so much in the past with my two boys. I was so happy to have her in my studio last week. So sweet and tiny!

A two in one session….

Having shot both these families before… I happily agreed to do a combo session for them in Atlanta last week. I was so glad I did! Heidi and Erin, so great to see you and the kids again!

Stuart and Jeremy – The Councill House

What a beautiful fall wedding! I’m such a sucker for older homes… so of course, I fell in love with the Councill House B&B.  http://www.councillhouse.com/

The owners, Sarah and Michael, were so excited to host their only daughter’s wedding at the home and I was more than happy to document the event! Thanks for having me in to your home! I felt so at ease and hope to work with you in the future. Stuart and Jeremy, you guys are so sweet! My only regret is that I didn’t get to see your sweet dog that day. :)

Below are dessert shot glasses. What a great idea and soooo yummy… i admit i had more than one. ;)

the bride and her father shared some sweet moments.

boo boos and more…

I just got off the phone with a mom concerned about her little guy. I’m shooting a session for him tomorrow and he has a bump near his eye. It’s a classic problem that I see all the time. I wanted to post a recent example of what I can do for all those worried mom’s out there. I’ve faced this situation more than once. Don’t feel you need to cancel your session. :)   I’ll attach an example from last week to better illustrate a before and after. Now, I try to keep photoshop to a minimum with kids, but I just want to show what can be done. This can apply to bruises, bumps, acne… yada yada. ;)

and after. ;)
