I’m off to Tallahassee! and then Athens, GA…. :)
Okay, so I’m leaving tonight to shoot a wedding in Tallahassee and then another the next day in Athens, GA. I won’t be back until Monday evening, but I’ll have my lap top on me and I’ll try checking in. Everyone have a wonderful weekend!
Beautiful Mountain Wedding
I could go on and on about the beauty and love at this wedding. Amy-Ellen and Jason made a wonderful couple and the setting was picturesque at the Mountain Magnolia Inn. I could go on and on… but, I will let the images speak for themselves.

To my Atlanta Gals!
Okay, it’s time to schedule sessions for the fall/winter. I’m booking like crazy and I don’t want to leave anyone out. In the interest of my family and travel…I’m going to book two blocks of time in October when I will be in town.
The days are:
October 8th, 9th, and 10th (morning session booked)
October 28th and 29th…. (29th is booked)
The Schomberg Boys…
I loved shooting the Schomberg kids yesterday. The drive to Waynesville was gloomy, but the moment I walked in the house, these two boys brightened my day. Katie, it was great to see you again!
I had the pleasure of shooting Sam in 2005. HIs image still hangs in my studio.

The Nine
It’s official. I finally get to brag on my girls! I’m so excited to be a part of a unique group of women! We are a diverse group of photographers who’ve come together to support each other, help one another, and grow!

Who are the Nine? Regina Holder, Honour Heirs Mann, Dana Andreasson, Brie Castell, Audrey Goforth, Kelly Giezentanner, Corey Cagle, Jill Schwarzkopf, and me!
We first came together for lunches and became such good friends. I can’t tell you how nice it is to meet with people who understand my profession and have a passion for life! We are always commenting on our work and critiquing each other. Not only that, but we now happily refer each other weddings. Also, we help each other out! I’m so excited to shoot a wedding soon with another “nine” member. Just think, I could be showing up to your wedding with another member of the nine? How cool would that be?

sample albums :)
Okay, so I’ve ordered sample albums from a few different companies and they are starting to come in to the studio. I wanted to post a few examples of some of the parent/brag albums I’ll be offering. I’m going to restructure the “splurge” package to include the cute 5×5 below and for my brides, I’m offering this cool 5×7 parent album. As always, excuse my lack of expertise of “product” photography.

Carol and Matt – Atlanta Wedding
This is one of my favorite weddings of the year! I loved shooting at the Emory Conference center. www.emoryconferencecenter.com
The pavillion was decorated beautifully and the walls of natural light were a dream! How wonderful to work with such a great planner as well. www.karencaseyevents.com
It was also a huge treat for me to photograph 3 beautiful flower girls…. 2 of which were identical blonde sweeties! Look at this expression below! Totally made my day.
Enjoy!

Carol was one of those brides that could laugh and cry all at the same time… loved it!

Heather and Adam – August 9th
I’m finally posting some pics from this fun wedding! It’s about time.
The lovely couple (shout-out to Marion) married in Gaither Chapel in Montreat and the reception was at The Casino on Lake Tahoma. I loved all the details about this wedding…from the shoes, the flowers, the car and boat send-off… I could go on. We were blessed with a beautiful, cool evening and I couldn’t have had a better group to work with.

these guys decided to play some Wii before the ceremony… i so wanted to join in with my mad tennis skills.

We went through downtown Black Mountain and got some awesome pics!
So much fun.

this is the last shot of the night and the back of the boat.
